Senior Accountant

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Sr. Accountant is to perform reconciliations and prepare journal entries in order to assist the Accounting Manager and Director in ensuring the integrity of the Financial Reporting and Accounting system.  The Sr. Accountant is also responsible for providing assistance to the Accounting Manager in preparation of financial statements, interfacing with internal and external auditors, and other duties as required for maintaining the efficiency of the Accounting Department.

Location:  This position is located in the Corporate Headquarters, Denver, CO.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following items are expected to be completed on a regular basis to fulfill the requirements of the above mentioned position:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules according to month-end close schedule.
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close. 
• Update accounting and marketing systems with foreign exchange rates daily.
• Team with the AP and Scheduling departments resolving pricing and volume issues.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years progressively responsible accounting experience.

Manager, IT PMO

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Manager, IT PMO will provide project management leadership to a portfolio of IT projects.  The Manager, IT PMO will lead a small number of large projects or a portfolio of smaller IT projects.  Other responsibilities include developing and implementing the IT project management capabilities of the IT group. This position will also be required to apply project management discipline and leadership to other company initiatives and projects that may not have a technology component (i.e. business initiatives).

Position Summary:   

Research and verify ticket information submitted by HSE drivers and third party drivers before entering data into system.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Monitors voice mail and inbox for load requests and or customer issues. Discusses issues with lead dispatcher for solutions
• Enters load requests in TouchStar  ( Dispatch Application)
• Returns calls to all customers that request confirmation number of pending pick-ups of crude oil from orders taken via voice mail and or e-mail.

Operator II

Position Summary:   

The Plant Operator II position is responsible for operating and maintaining the High Sierra Water Services plant systems and related facilities.  The work and duties ensure that the plant operations meet all HSWS requirements on a continual basis, and that established safety policies and procedures/processes for plant operation are followed.  The HSWS plant is a 24/7 operation requiring the Operator II to have scheduling flexibility.

Location:  This position is located in Platteville, CO.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner 
• Operate water treatment systems in a manner consistent with the goals of the project
• Perform analytical tests as necessary to facilitate process monitoring and in keeping with the treatment goals using good lab technique and skill
• Operate analytical equipment, including AAS, spectrophotometers and wet chemical methods
• Calibrate instruments such as pH, ORP, and conductivity when necessary and appropriate
• Make changes to PLC function from HMI (if required) , may include modification of PLC program code
• Monitor daily chemical usage

• Mechanical and maintenance ability including minor pump repair, ability and knowledge of working with PVC/CPVC/HDPE piping systems, and electrical knowledge. 
• Understanding of Hydraulics. 
• Basic understanding of the proper handling of hazardous chemicals including strong acids, bases, and oxidizers. 
• Experience with Personal Protective Equipment.  HazWhopper training a plus. 
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings such as Progress Flow Diagrams (PFD) and P&ID. 
• Ability  to troubleshoot and manipulate water treatment equipment including oil/water coalescing separators, dissolved air flotation clarifiers, gravity clarifiers, membrane systems including MF/UF/NF and RO, ion exchange, coagulation, flocculation, chemical precipitation, biological treatment, and dewatering processes. 
• Familiarity with analytical equipment including spectrophotometers, pH, ORP, turbidity and wet chemical methods. 
• Knowledge and ability to practice good laboratory techniques and methodologies, and perform bench scale evaluations including jar testing of coagulants, flocculants, and precipitants. 
• Ability to calculate dosages and apply the data to the plant systems. 
• Solid math skills including algebra is valuable.

Payroll & HRIS Administrator

Position Summary:

The Payroll/ HRIS Administrator is primarily responsible for all activities related to payroll processing, and accurate and timely recording and maintenance of all employee payroll-related data and records.  The Payroll/HRIS Administrator maintains a high level of confidentiality, ensures a high level of data and system integrity, and delivers top quality customer service.  This position is a hands-on, individual contributor (no direct reports) who handles the day-to-day maintenance and processing of the bi-weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees currently in seven states.  The successful candidate must be a highly-motivated team-player who thrives on the opportunities to improve and streamline processes.

Location:  This position is located in the Corporate Headquarters, Denver, CO.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION

• Process payroll including regularly scheduled payroll, special payroll runs, manual checks, garnishment or tax refund requests in a multi-state environment
• Provide guidance and support to remote administrative staff in payroll
• Research and resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
• Manage time off requests, accruals, timesheets, etc.
• Review, process and respond to the following: garnishment orders, court order medical support, wage assignments, tax levies, child support orders and interrogatories from courts, law offices and process servers
• Manage ongoing multi state and local tax requirements
• Process bi-weekly 401(k), HSA and FSA contributions
• Prepare census reports
• Perform bi-weekly, quarterly and annual audits as necessary (i.e. taxes, payroll, W-2s, etc)
• Review and release W-2’s

HRIS FUNCTIONS:

• General Systems administrator for ADP PayX, HR Benefits Solutions for all locations
• Implement ADP system upgrades as needed
• Update and maintain system level data tables      
• Update and maintain employee level information
• Ensure data integrity in ADP system
• Process special reporting requests as needed

OTHER DUTIES:

• Process year-end census for 401(k)
• Manage adherence to 401(k) Plan Document when processing contributions, employer match, funding and filing requirements
• Collect data and prepares annual compensation spreadsheets for use in determining pay increases and incentive bonuses
• Perform 401(k) and Work Comp audits in partnership with external auditors
• Assist with development, documentation, and updates of policies and procedures for internal and external customers
• Complete general HR administrative duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Associates Accounting degree required with a minimum of three (3) years experience in related field: or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Understands tax withholding, benefits, liens and garnishments laws
• Knowledgeable in taxable income, non-taxable income and federal, state and local deductions/requirements
• Knows how to calculate a paycheck (e.g. taxes, deductions, withholdings, taxable and non-taxable income)
